1. The Irish are playing at home and are out for revenge

Last season, Navy got the best of Notre Dame in an absolutely shocking upset that no one saw coming. The Fighting Irish have had over a year to stew on that loss, to think of what could have been and to simply get angry. Couple that with the fact that they are coming off a loss that has raised doubts about their ability to compete and this could be an explosion on the part of the Irish- but in a good way. The Irish have never taken well to losing and we will see how they react to it first hand on Saturday afternoon.

Now add in the fact that this is a primetime match up and the Irish are playing at home, on Senior Day. If there was ever a time to step up for the senior class of 2017, that time is now. All these outside influences will culminate into a big time, blow out win for the Irish.
