After two straight losses to SEC opponents, Texas A&M football will look to right the ship in Oxford. Here is why Texas A&M will head home victorious.
Texas A&M has had a season full of ups and downs. From losing two starters in Week 1 to nearly knocking off Alabama it has been just another Aggie rollercoaster.
However, I think that this roller coaster has a high point in Oxford this weekend as Texas A&M takes on the Ole Miss Rebels. Here are my five reasons why I think the Aggies leave Oxford with a win.
5. The Aggies are more prone to create turnovers
If you have watched Texas A&M at all this season, you know that while the offense has been inconsistent, the defense has been strong and exciting. They lead the SEC in sacks, sitting at 33 on the season and that number just continues to climb.
Even better though, is that Texas A&M seems to finally be creating turnovers that are helping them win games. Check out this one from Armani Watts in the end zone against Florida. The senior safety is putting together a career year that will likely land him at a much higher spot in the draft than many people predicted.

Texas A&M has 17 total turnovers on the season, nine interceptions and eight fumble recoveries. They also have one pick six that belongs to sophomore linebacker Tyrel Dodson. Meanwhile, Ole Miss only has seven on the season, five interceptions and two fumble recoveries.
If Texas A&M can force a few mistakes by Jordan Ta’amu and company, they could easily leave with a win on Saturday night.
