After a dominating win over New Mexico, Texas A&M football heads to Oxford looking for a conference victory in the first of two straight road match ups.
With redshirt freshman Nick Starkel back under center, Texas A&M is feeling confident and ready to take on the world. Starkel’s presence opens up a stronger passing game than what they had with Mond as the quarterback. The Aggies will need that strength on offense to combat an Ole Miss that is on a roll of sorts.
Texas A&M is looking to avoid another late season collapse and Ole Miss is looking to continue their recent winning ways. Which will win out? Both? Neither? The Rebels interim coach Matt Luke doesn’t look to be in line for the full time job next season. Kevin Sumlin might not be around next year either if he isn’t able to flip the script in November this season.
The Rebels are on a win streak against the Aggies and will look to keep it that way as they play at home for the final time this season. Senior night seems to provide a certain level of fight in players that is unmatched from the rest of the season. Will that be the case for the Rebels or will their up and down defense be their downfall?
Here are my three bold predictions for the SEC West matchup.
