2. Kansas is so bad that it lulls opponents to sleep

Honestly, this game should have been a lot more lopsided than it actually was. The Jayhawks played terribly but the Sooners didn’t take advantage until late, shutting them out 20-0 in the final 30 minutes.

The Jayhawks are now 1-10 on the year and look like an FCS football program, at best. With all the trolling opponents do of the Jayhawks, they don’t do much to combat it. They have been awful on the gridiron for years, often making fans turn to college basketball in early November and forgetting football even exists.

Kansas lulled Oklahoma to sleep through the first half as the Sooners only led 21-3 at the break, which is actually surprising given the offensive firepower that they have. I was expecting something like 35-0 at the half, but it’s tough to get up for a matchup against Kansas.

The Sooners escaped the minor trap game with no cuts or bruises and will move on to the final week of the season before gearing up for the Big 12 title game. Kansas nearly put the Sooners to sleep with its poor play.
