2. Trace McSorley doesn’t get enough credit

Penn State’s offense works like a well-oiled machine with a Heisman-contending running back like Saquon Barkley leading the way each week. Sure, there have been hiccups along the way, such as losses to Ohio State and Michigan State, but Penn State’s offense usually flows well.

Barkley gets most of the credit for the effectiveness of the attack, but rarely does junior quarterback Trace McSorley see any major praise. He’s been one of the most consistent quarterbacks in the Big Ten over the past couple of seasons, yet he is constantly overlooked by just about everyone.

That continues to be true, especially after Barkley rushed for over 150 yards against the Cornhuskers on Saturday. Everyone was quick to give the talented running back all the praise, but McSorley had quite the game of his own.

In fact, he passed for 325 yards and three touchdowns on 24-of-36 completions. This marks his fourth game on the year with at least 300 yards passing and ninth with over 200. Also, this is his fifth contest in 2017 without a single interception thrown. Give the kid some credit.
