2. The only chance UCLA has of winning is by creating turnovers

It wouldn’t seem that UCLA has much of a hope in winning this game. However, if they were able to pull off an upset at USC, it would be based on turnovers. In recent weeks, USC quarterback Sam Darnold has had quite the issue holding onto the ball. One of his turnovers is shown below against Notre Dame a few weeks ago. It wasn’t pretty, unless of course you are a fan of the Fighting Irish.

The issue as of right now, however, is that while Darnold and company are turning the ball over, UCLA has had issues cashing turnovers in for points. If they cannot turn USC’s mistakes into points, their hopes of an upset win and becoming bowl eligible on Saturday fall by the way side. As of right now, it is hard to believe that UCLA has the ability to pull of the upset- however, if they do they would need at least three turnovers to do it.

My bold prediction? UCLA forces two turnovers, but their inability to cash them in is what does them in by the end of the game.
