2. Jonathan Taylor’s future is incredibly bright

In case we didn’t already know this, the future of freshman running back Jonathan Taylor is incredibly bright and he proved that against the Wolverines on Saturday. Although his numbers didn’t exactly pop out of the stat sheet, Taylor had some decent runs against arguably the best rush defense in the conference.

Michigan is a different animal compared to what the Badgers have faced thus far. In fact, the Wolverines have held just about every running back they’ve faced, with the exception of Saquon Barkley, in check. Wisconsin hasn’t seen a team like that yet.

Despite being the center of attention for the Michigan defense to key on, without an adequate passing attack by the Badgers, Taylor still made some dazzling plays and not many guys can turn 10-yard carries into highlight reel plays like he does.

Taylor finished with 132 yards on 19 carries, but he will continue to grown and facing a defense like Michigan’s is only going to help with his maturity in a quicker fashion.
