Linebacker. LSU Tigers. Arden Key. 2. player. 42.

Linebacker/edge rusher from the LSU Tigers, Arden Key, is possibly the most potent and talented option available in the 2018 NFL Draft. Key’s production has not been there in the last two years, but he definitely passes the eye test this season.

Through eight games, Key has four sacks and was all over the place even against the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide. The San Francisco 49ers would be lucky to find a player like Key after parting ways with former All-Pro linebacker NaVorro Bowman.

San Francisco needs to find a new direction to take the franchise in now with the big acquisition of former New England Patriots quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was brought over in a trade. Building up the defense would be a great move in this draft.

Injuries and consistency concerns could end up hurting Key’s draft stock come April. Yet, as the Browns showed us last season, injuries to a big time pass rusher do not have their chances of being a top 2 pick that much.
