7. player. 57. . Wide Receiver. Oklahoma State Cowboys. James Washington

Rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is looking great with the Chicago Bears and the backfield is set too with Tarik Cohen and Jordan Howard. However, Trubisky could use some weapons around him with adding a top notch wide receiver.

Oklahoma State’s James Washington is the favorite to win the Biletnikoff Award and is the top deep threat in the nation. That deep threat ability will translate to the NFL as he’ll be able to burn defensive backs once he gets up to hit top speed.

The long strides from Washington allows him to really run any route needed, but to have the ability to take the top off of any defense. Moreover, since the Bears entered the year with Cameron Meredith as the primary receiver, it’s time to find a new answer.

Chicago has needs on both sides of the ball, but none more pressing than the offensive line and wide receiver. Either position picked would be a win for the Bears in the first round. Washington is a good fit here, though.
