Ohio State locked up the Big Ten East and Wisconsin continued to roll in Week 12. Here’s how things stand in the latest Big Ten Football Power Rankings.

It was wacky weather week in the Big Ten with multiple games with either snow, rain, high winds, or a combination of all of the above. It is November in Big Ten country after all. Most call those conditions good football weather.

No game was decided by less than two scores and the results played out mostly to expectations. Purdue did score a minor upset of Iowa in Iowa City. Ohio State locked up the East Division so the Buckeyes and Badgers are heading to a clash in Indianapolis in a couple Saturdays. First though, both must face their chief rivals.

The conference currently has seven teams eligible for bowls with a guaranteed eighth to be determined by the Indiana at Purdue game. Minnesota could gain eligibility with a win over Wisconsin, but it is not likely. It is looking like the Big Ten will not fill all of its bowl spots, especially if there are more than two teams in the New Years Six bowls. It is definitely a top-heavy conference this season. With bowl bids, trophies and bragging rights on the line, it should make for a fun rivalry week.
