Bold Prediction: Boise State holds Fresno State to two touchdowns or less. The Broncos are oft remembered for their trick plays and powerful offense, but the defense has been a significant driver of their success in recent years as well. Boise has held their opponents to two touchdowns or less in six of their last seven games. Add one more victim to the list.

Bold Prediction: Clayton Thorson has his first four touchdown game since Week 1. Thorson has been up and down through the air, but he’s been buoyed by successes as a runner at the goal line. Thorson tacks on his ninth and tenth rushing touchdown of the year with a few passing scores for a big day on the road.

Bold Prediction: Bryce Love is contained and the Cardinal lose by 20+. The Cardinal have had 11 weeks to find some other way to move the football outside of the legs of Bryce Love. No solution has materialized, and that’s finally going to catch up to the Cardinal against a Notre Dame team that will do just enough to keep Love from beating them by himself.

Bold Prediction: Anthony Miller catches three touchdowns. The favorite target of quarterback Riley Ferguson, Miller has caught five of his 13 touchdown receptions in the last three weeks. The Pirates have the 128th passing defense in the nation, third worst. That means lots of action for one of the nation’s best pass catchers.
