Week 2: Bowl games from Dec. 22 through Dec. 26
The second set of bowl games could feature some high-flying matchups. If UCLA manages to beat California in their rivalry game on Thanksgiving weekend, Josh Rosen will get one final college game when the Bruins take on Quinton Flowers and South Florida at Legion Field. The Bulls had hopes of playing in a New Year’s Six bowl when they started the season, but they will still get to play a Power Five opponent to end the year.
A few days later on the other end of the country, we might be treated to a duel of two of the nation’s best running backs. San Diego State is projected to play Washington in the Cactus Bowl, where Rashaad Penny and Myles Gaskin could burn up the turf at Arizona Stadium in Tucson.
