Urban Meyer brings his Ohio State football team into the Big House for Week 13. Here are my three bold predictions for The Game.

The Ohio State Buckeyes roll into the Big House with a record of 9-2 and the No. 1 ranked team in Bill C’s S&P+ rankings. The Michigan Wolverines defend their turf sitting at 8-3 and ranked 17th in the S&P+ overall rankings.

The home dog Wolverines have dropped games to Penn State, Michigan State and Wisconsin. That’s not a bad slate of games to claim losses to. However, if Brandon Peters is unable to play, Michigan’s offense takes a huge blow. Peters is in concussion protocol and while he’s not ruled out, his status is uncertain. Before the head injury against Wisconsin, Peters was 9-for-18 passing for 157 yards. He started the season as the backup to backup John O’Korn, who finished the game 2-of-8 for 19 yards.

Michigan’s defense has been strong as always but the offense has been bad. That’s to be expected with the amount of starters the Wolverines lost from last season. It’s easier to get defenders to step in and play and much harder to get offensive linemen ready off of no experience as you don’t rotate them like you do defensive lineman.

The Buckeyes are ranked higher by Bill C than the undefeated Alabama Crimson Tide, Wisconsin Badgers and Miami Hurricanes. Ohio State dropped an early game to the Oklahoma Sooners and it looked like the season was lost. The offense sputtered, at best, and Baker Mayfield lit up the young defense. Then the Buckeyes roared back, even upsetting the Penn State Nittany Lions before being thumped by the Iowa Hawkeyes.

The Buckeyes bounced back beating the Spartans and Illinois heading into their rivalry matchup with Michigan.

Here are my three bold predictions for the Week 13 game between Michigan and Ohio State.
