2. JT Barrett scores four touchdowns

JT Barrett will score four touchdowns against Don Brown’s Michigan Wolverines defense. I realize that seems like a lot considering Brown has put out some tough units in maize and blue. However, Barrett is now a senior and this is his final showdown against the Wolverines for the Buckeyes.

There have been a lot of detractors against Barrett since he’s donned the silver and scarlet of Ohio State. He has struggled to be a true passer in his time in Columbus but offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson has worked magic with him this season and there’s been improvement.

Barrett hadn’t thrown an interception since Week 2 against Oklahoma before his abysmal outing against Iowa where he threw four and the Buckeyes were beaten down by the Hawkeyes. Since then, he’s thrown two interceptions against the Michigan State Spartans before coming out of the Illinois game clean of turnovers.

Michigan does have the eighth-ranked defense per Bill C’s S&P+ but they’ll spend so much time on the field against Ohio State that Barrett will break a big run and he’ll find ways to get the ball into his play makers hands because Kevin Wilson will dictate so. I have no doubt that Barrett goes out on top of the Michigan Wolverines with two passing and two rushing touchdowns in Ann Arbor.
