By Dana Becker
Missouri football has had an up-and-down year, but Drew Lock has remained a constant. He wrote himself into the record books on Saturday.

Now, Lock has himself a record in the SEC, surpassing Andre Woodson of Kentucky for the most touchdown passes in a single-season with his 41st on Friday.
SEC single-season touchdown passes
- Drew Lock, Missouri 2017 – 41*
- Andrew Woodson, Kentucky 2007 – 40
- Danny Wuerffel, Florida 1996 – 39
- Tim Couch, Kentucky 1997 – 37
- Johnny Manziel, Texas A&M 2013 – 37
And Lock isn’t done yet. The Tiger junior tossed three touchdowns in the first 27 minutes against Arkansas, giving him over a half still to add to his total.
Lock started the year off strong, throwing seven touchdowns in a win over Missouri State. During a five-game losing skid, he had 10 passing scores, including four vs. Georgia. Since that loss to the Bulldogs, Missouri has won five games, scoring at least 45 points in all five. Lock has thrown 24 touchdowns including his three vs. the Razorbacks.
Last year, Lock threw 23 touchdowns and had just under 3,400 yards. He has already surpassed that total this year for the Tigers, who are bowl eligible.

The list includes some very notable SEC quarterbacks including former Heisman winners Danny Wuerffel of Florida and Johnny Manziel of Texas A&M, along with former No. 1 pick Tim Couch from Kentucky. On a side-note, pretty crazy list when you see two quarterbacks from Kentucky on it in Woodson and Couch and nobody from Georgia, Alabama, Auburn and just one ex-Gator.
