In likely the last game of Kevin Sumlin’s tenure in Aggieland, Texas A&M football faces off against the LSU Tigers in Death Valley.

Texas A&M is headed to Death Valley on Saturday night. The Aggies will be looking to snap quite the losing streak to the Tigers as they have yet to beat LSU since joining the SEC.

Is this the season that changes that? It might just be. Here are my three bold predictions for the SEC West matchup.

3. The running game decides this one

Both of these teams have a high powered running game, when they want to. Derrius Guice for LSU is extremely strong and talented. His power will spell trouble for the Aggies if their defensive line cannot figure out how to shut him down. On the flip side, Keith Ford and Trayveon Williams will be the same for the Aggies. It will be important for LSU to shut down both players and keep the Aggies from big gains.

As it stands for the season as a whole, Guice has been more than successful. So, it will be most important for the Aggies to find a way to shut him down. Many are predicting he runs for over 200 yards. If that happens, the Aggies are more than screwed. My bold prediction? The team that runs to ball better wins this game, hands down.
