Texas A&M football will reportedly part ways with Kevin Sumlin once the regular season ends on Saturday. Did they make the right decision?

Texas A&M fans haven’t exactly been happy with Kevin Sumlin and company for quite a while. They are frustrated with the roller coaster of emotions that Aggie football has provided. As a result, they are ready for a change. It would seem, based on recent news, that it is all but official that Sumlin will not be returning as the head coach for the 2018 season.

However, it would seem that his players are less than happy about their coach’s upcoming departure. There is no confirmation if running back Trayveon Williams’ tweet, shown below, is about Kevin Sumlin. However, the timing is too convenient for it not to be related.

There are rumors swirling that Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher is headed to Aggieland, which would be a home run hire if true. Here are five reasons it was time for the Aggies to part way with Kevin Sumlin.
