2. Bolo Olorunfunmi tops 100 yards rushing

Bolo Olorunfunmi and Soso Jamabo might make up the best name combination of any backfield in the country. While that may be interesting it hasn’t resulted in much of an impact for the Bruins this season. Between the two of them they own two 100-yard rushing performances this season. Jamabo reached 100 yards on the nose against Stanford and Olorunfunmi tallied 102 yards against Arizona.

Josh Rosen is the heart, soul, brain and everything else for the UCLA offense. The running attack has been nearly nonexistent for the Bruins and ranks 10th in the Pac-12 entering Saturday’s contest. However, the Bruins proven they can be productive on the ground.

They rushed for 190 yards against Arizona and 192 yards against Arizona State. While Arizona State ranks in the middle of the pack in run defense Arizona has been the strongest defense against the run in the Pac-12. If UCLA can run against them they can find a way to pick up some chunk plays against a middling Cal defense.

Olorunfunmi has edged Jamabo in touches over the past several weeks. Both backs will be productive, but Olorunfunmi will end with the higher total and the third 100-yard performance for the Bruins this year.
