The defending ACC and national champions moved back to the top spot following a convincing win over South Carolina.
After watching as Miami and Alabama went down, the Tigers knew the importance of coming out and taking care of business.
Kelly Bryant helped take the pressure off, having one of his best games of the year. The junior quarterback completed 23 of 34 for 272 yards with two touchdowns.
The Tigers ran the ball 45 times for 184 yards, with Travis Etienne and Tavien Feaster each hitting the end zone.
Hunter Renfrow, who caught the game-winner in the national championship vs. Alabama, scored two touchdowns, with freshman receiver Tee Higgins catching three passes for a team-high 84 yards.
Clemson’s defense forced three turnovers, recorded five tackles for loss and held South Carolina to 126 yards passing and 81 yards rushing.
