The defensive line of the Tampa Bay Bucaneers reads a lot better than it produces. Robert Ayers, Gerald McCoy, Chris Baker and William Gholston have plenty of Pro Bowl appearances between then. The linebacking corps of Kendell Beckwith, Kwon Alexander and Lavonte David is equally recognizable. But there numbers have been lacking in 2017.

Tampa Bay has registered 15 sacks this year a number which is tied for 30th in the NFL. It appears that some of those once revered stars have lost a step or two. To alleviate their pass rush woes, they’ll need to bring in a fresh face – Boston College standout Harold Landry.

Landry finished led the nation in sacks in 2016, registering 16.5 for a meager BC team that did not go bowling. He’s tallied five sacks this season, missing several of the past games with an ankle injury. When he’s healthy, he’s one of the most intimidating edge rushers in college football.

His technique and open field tackling are second to none. He can read plays well as they develop and is quick to the ball when he makes his decision.
