NFL Mock Draft 2018: Complete first round after Week 13
Florida State hasn’t exactly had the season that everyone expected, but star cornerback Tarvarus McFadden is no slouch. He’s considered one of the top cornerbacks in the class and he has ideal size for a player of that position in the league. He stands 6-foot-2, 198 pounds and plays an aggressive style that frustrates opposing receivers.
The junior defensive backs has played in 10 games this season, recording 26 total tackles and five pass deflections and even scored his first career touchdown on a blocked field goal a week ago. While he doesn’t have a single interception this season, he has shown that he’s more than capable of causing turnovers, picking off eight passes in 2016.
Buffalo could use a quarterback as well as some defensive back help. The quarterback could come with their second pick in the first round, but this spot is a good opportunity to select someone the caliber of McFadden. He has plenty of room to grow, but he has the pieces to make him a lockdown corner.
