With the addition of Jimbo Fisher, Texas A&M football would become instant contenders in the SEC and on a national level, and here’s why.

Everyone has heard the rumors about Jimbo Fisher taking over for Texas A&M football. Sorry, Kevin Sumlin, but if Fisher comes to College Station, it’s a tremendous upgrade.

Jimbo Fisher is one of the top five coaches in the nation right now, even with the bad 2017 campaign. Any school in the nation would be lucky to have him. And it looks like Fisher might be trading in his Seminole Spear for an Aggie Scepter.

Here five reasons Jimbo Fisher turns the Aggie into instant contenders in the SEC and on a national stage.

5. Facilities

Jimbo Fisher and the boosters of Florida State have been in struggle about upgrading the facilities in Tallahasse. And not much has been done to settle their differences. Florida State is now saying that it will upgrade the facilities, but it seems like a late strategy to keep Fisher in Tallahassee. But Texas A&M is full of boosters ready to shovel out money for their school.

The Aggies just got new locker rooms and have very good facilities. Their sponsorship with Adidas does not hurt because the Aggies are always dressed in the newest and nicest Adidas can give them. Fisher could rule College Station with an iron fist if he really wanted to.

They gave Kevin Sumlin a lot and the same and more will be given to two-time national champion Jimbo Fisher.
