With the college football season winding down, the playoff committee has a big decision to make Sunday, and this game is one of the deciding factors. Wisconsin comes into this matchup undefeated while the Buckeyes have two losses of their own. So why is Wisconsin still being criticized? Well… who have they beaten?

Up to this game, Wisconsin’s best win is debatably Northwestern which came earlier in the year. Among the Power Five conferences, Wisconsin has the 45th-ranked strength of schedule and this has created problems for the team heading into bowl season. Ohio State on the other hand built a schedule that ranks higher than most, and they aren’t nearly as perfect as Wisconsin up to this point. The Buckeyes received their first loss early in the season when they were beaten by the Sooners in Week 2. Just a week after Ohio State survived a scare from Penn State, the Buckeyes went into Iowa City to take on the Hawkeyes where they were routed in a 55-24 defeat.

Nearly a month later, we’re now hours away from the selection show where the committee will choose the four teams for this years playoff.
