College GameDay signs went out with a bang on the final Saturday of the regular season. These signs were the best of the best in Week 14.

College GameDay has become a part of the fabric of Saturdays during the fall because of the signs. The game analysis is great and the headgear selection is always good for a laugh, but it’s the signs that keep people coming back every week.

The final weekend of the regular season, championship weekend, did not disappoint. The College GameDay crew took the show to the ACC Championship Game featuring a battle between No. 1 Clemson and No. 7 Miami with a spot in the College Football Playoff on the line.

Clemson (11-1) and Miami (10-1) have both had stretches this season when they looked unbeatable, but each has had one bad game that spoiled a perfect season. The Tigers lost to the Syracuse Orange on the road and the Hurricanes fell last weekend to Pittsburgh away from the confines of Hard Rock Stadium. Nevertheless, both teams find themselves in contention and need one more win on Saturday.

The fans are well aware of what’s at stake. They didn’t pull their punches, and they didn’t limit their jabs to the games taking place this weekend. The uproar of the coaching carousel was featured multiple times. Jimbo Fisher‘s escape to Texas A&M and Tennessee’s failed coaching search both were easy targets for creative football fans.

The signs are made, laughs were had, but now it’s time for some football. By the time Saturday is over the College Football Playoff picture will be just as murky and the scenarios will be finished. All that’s left is the final announcement of the field. Let the arguing and resume comparisons begin.
