3. Belk Bowl (SEC vs. ACC)

The Belk Bowl has seen some great games in the past few years. An ACC vs. SEC matchup always seems to yield some entertaining action. Last year, the Virginia Tech Hokies defeated the Arkansas Razorbacks with first-year head coach Justin Fuente.

If the Aggies do find themselves in the Belk Bowl, it could either come against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons or the NC State Wolfpack. Since the game is played in Charlotte, NC, the Aggies could be facing an uphill battle in terms of fan support against two teams actually from North Carolina.

NC State even played in the 2015 Belk Bowl, yielding a defeat to the Mississippi State Bulldogs and legendary quarterback Dak Prescott. The Wolfpack would be a tough test for the Aggies, with players like defensive end Bradley Chubb and running back Nyheim Hines to deal with.

It would not be the worst way for the Aggies to round out another eight win season with a win in the Belk Bowl. This year, it’s played on Dec. 29 at 1 p.m. And it’s played at its usual home at Bank of America Stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers.
