QB. Louisville. 7. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Lamar Jackson. 30

Would there be a more New York Jets thing to do than select Lamar Jackson?

Some have questioned his skills as a quarterback, but there is no doubting that the Heisman winner has been working to improve in those areas.

Jackson has thrown for 3,489 yards with 25 touchdowns and six interceptions, completing a career-high 60 percent of his passes. That completion percentage is up over four points from last year and almost six better than his freshman season.

The redshirt junior  has rushed for 1,443 yards and 17 touchdowns.

For his career, Jackson has 8,872 yards and 67 touchdowns to go along with 3,974 yards and 49 scores on the ground.

If the Jets want to turn their offense around, landing a player with the skills of Jackson can do that.
