2. Recruiting prowess

According to 247Sports, the SMU Mustangs have a better 2018 recruiting class than Arkansas. That says it all. Surprisingly, he is doing it with four and five-star recruits. Once Chad Morris lands in Arkansas recruits will want to come play for him.

One of the big reasons is definitely his success at Clemson. He coached players like Sammy Watkins, DeAndre Hopkins, Martavis Bryant and Deshaun Watson. But another reason why Morris will be a good recruiter at Arkansas is because of his relationship will the state of Texas. Before Tulsa, Clemson and SMU, Morris was a high school football coach in Texas for 15 years.

In the state of Texas, he coached five different high schools, the most famous being Lake Travis High School. And when he came back to state of Texas with the SMU job, he recruited the Lone Star State aggressively.

With the facilities and tradition of the Razorbacks, he should be able to pull kids from Texas and bring them to Arkansas. Hopefully he finds some kids that can get the ball into the endzone next season.
