The receiving corps is not the only position group that loses a top flight talent on the UW football roster. UW also loses senior inside linebacker, and one of the leaders of the defense, Keishawn Bierria.

Senior outside linebacker Connor O’Brien also runs out of eligibility after the 2017 campaign, but he’s not in a position where four-star linebacker Brandon Kaho can fill in. However, Kaho is sure to be one of the candidates to take the place of Bierria in 2018.

This is a very strong class of linebacker commits for the Huskies. Three-star outside linebacker Jack Sirmon is also a name to watch in 2018. Sirmon could see a good amount of playing time, but is unlikely to get a starting spot as a freshman.

Moreover, Kaho is the only four-star linebacker that the Huskies have in the class so far. He’s the fifth best inside linebacker in the nation. And, UW impressively snatched him away from the Alabama Crimson Tide, another program pursuing Kaho.
