1. Quarterback Nic Shimonek is poised for a big day against the Bulls.

Texas Tech quarterback Nic Shimonek started 11 games this season, but was benched to start week 12 due to a lack of production against TCU. However, he eventually found his way back into the game and the result was a Red Raider victory and now the chance at a 7-6 finish on the season.

Shimonek breaks down the game winner in the video below, something he should be quite proud of. This play, along with a few others, brought the Red Raiders a late victory in the season finale.

Shimonek owns a 68 percent completion rate. He has thrown for over 3,500 yards and 30 touchdowns in the 2017 season. Facing a weak pass defense, he is poised to make a run at his best performance of the season. He will need all hands on deck, but his team can make it happen. He has the weapons and the talent to do it.

Watch out for Shimonek. I am predicting at least 200 yards passing and four touchdowns from him by the end of the day on Saturday.
