1. Justin Stockton and Dakota Allen make lasting impressions

Texas Tech senior running back Justin Stockton was a huge part of the fight that Tech put up into the final seconds of the game. Head coach Kliff Kingsbury is quite fond of the young man and it shows every time he talks about him.

While the Red Raiders did not pull this one out, Stockton deserves credit for the fight and effort that he showed from the first snap. He finished this match up with 103 yards rushing and 32 yards receiving in his final game as a Red Raider.

Linebacker Dakota Allen also made a lasting impact this season and during the bowl game. It is unsure if he will enter the draft or not, but Tech fans everywhere are crossing their fingers hoping that he decides to take one last year in Lubbock. He has helped this defense make a complete 180 from last season.
