Texas Football: 5 Bold Predictions for Texas Bowl vs. Missouri
By Shelbie Warr
1. The “home field advantage” doesn’t help Texas
In their first bowl game since 2014, the Texas Longhorns are surely hoping that playing in their home state will assist them in a victory over the Missouri Tigers. However, the team sits at 3-3 in home games this season, so that home field crowd obviously didn’t do much to help them in Austin. The trip down the highway may not be much different for them.
NRG Stadium will surely be packed with burnt orange as it is smack inside of Longhorn country, at least in comparison to Missouri. However, the biggest question is will it make a difference with all of the question marks surrounding the Texas program.
