4. Drew Lock is the real deal at quarterback for the Tigers.

He has been called the golden arm of Missouri and rightfully so. The junior out of Lee’s Summit, Missouri has had quite the journey within the Missouri football program. He is the eighth Missouri quarterback to reach over 5,000 passing yards in a career. His father and grandfather both played football at Missouri.

This season, he has quietly become the NCAA passing touchdown leader, the SEC single season passing touchdown record holder and has quietly brought his team on a six game win streak.

His “golden arm” as it were could easily lead the Missouri Tigers to their first bowl victory since 2014 when they won the SEC East. Him, along with his strong receiving core, has been successful against full SEC defenses so far this season and I don’t see that changing against a depleted Texas secondary.

Keep an eye out for Drew Lock on Wednesday. In what possibly could be his last game in black and gold, he could likely have his career best game against the Texas Longhorns. He already has 3,695 yards on the season, averaging 9.6 yards per attempt. I could see him passing for 300 plus and four touchdowns before the night is done.
