3. Texas has way too many questions at the quarterback position

So far this season, Texas has yet to have a 100 percent healthy quarterback. Sophomore starter Shane Buechele was hurt against Maryland and as a result true Sam Ehlinger played a few games. Buechele came back against Iowa State and looked entirely uncomfortable. Ehlinger was put back in against Oklahoma and Oklahoma State before suffering a concussion, re-enter Buechele.

The short of it is that Texas never was able to settle on and establish a quarterback for the 2017 season. Now, with both as healthy as possible, head coach Tom Herman announced that Buechele will start at quarterback due to Ehlinger’s abundance of turnovers, specifically against Texas Tech to end the season.

When going against a team like Missouri who has had an established quarterback in Drew Lock for three years now, that is a tall task.
