Louisville Football: 3 early signees who’ll have instant impact in 2018
The Cardinals had a strong draw from Florida in this class. Of the 20 early signees, 11 are from Florida. Even one of the three hard commits is from Florida. But, one of the most potent of the Florida commits is three-star dual-threat quarterback Jordan Travis.
For obvious reasons, any quarterback that joins Louisville before the start of the 2018 regular season has a chance to make an impact. The favorite for the starting job after Jackson’s departure is rising junior quarterback Jawon Pass, a former four-star recruit.
Travis received offers from 12 schools, and five Power Five programs. The Georgia Bulldogs, UCF Knights, and South Florida Bulls had a good chance to land him. But, Louisville has a track record of developing dual-threat quarterbacks to be successful.
