Notre Dame football looks to bounce back from a string of disappointing losses with a big win over the LSU Tigers.

The Irish got off to one of the nation’s hottest starts after winning seven straight games following a split in their first two contests. Since then, Notre Dame has dropped two out of three, eking out a win against Navy amid losses to Miami and Stanford. The Irish will look to get things back on track Monday against the Tigers.

One of the most encouraging aspects of Notre Dame’s early season was the emergence of quarterback Brandon Wimbush. The third-year junior developed quite the connection with head coach Brian Kelly, despite the latter’s commitment to taking a hands-off approach in terms of the offense.

However, things haven’t been smooth sailing as of late. Kelly still has the locker room intact for the most part, but the recent suspensions of some key players appear to have further inhibited the little momentum the Irish had left. With more than just this season on the line, here are five bold predictions as the Irish make their post-season appearance in the Citrus Bowl.
