1. Alabama deserved to be in the CFB Playoff, after all

There was plenty of debate about whether or not Alabama deserved to get that last spot in the College Football Playoff, but that argument was put to rest on Monday night as the Crimson Tide took it to the No. 1 team in the nation.

While it’s not fair to say Ohio State wouldn’t have beaten Alabama or Clemson, it is fair to believe that the Tide deserved to be there just as much as anyone else for as well as they played against the Tigers. People weren’t as sold on Alabama heading into the game because they “didn’t play anyone” in 2017 and their best win was Mississippi State or LSU.

That all changed in the Sugar Bowl as the Tide had their way with the Tigers thanks to a strong defensive showing and Nick Saban proved why he just wanted his team to get the chance to prove itself.
