Alabama football’s season isn’t over yet, and here’s why the Crimson Tide will win the national championship after conquering Clemson.

Everyone who doubted Alabama heading into the College Football Playoff suddenly fell silent on Monday night as the Crimson Tide took care of the nation’s No. 1 team, Clemson.

Nick Saban proved why he should never be doubted and showed up to play on a national stage yet again. No team in college football currently owns a two-game winning streak against Saban and he will once again be playing for a title.

With a win in Monday’s national title game, Saban will tie Bear Bryant with the most championships by a head coach in college football history (6).

Here’s why the Crimson Tide will beat Georgia and become the 2017 national champs.

3. Georgia’s defense proved its vulnerability

Sure, Oklahoma has one of the best offenses in college football, if not the best offense, but the Bulldogs played poorly on the defensive side of the ball. They allowed Baker Mayfield to do almost whatever he wanted outside of a few sacks and the Oklahoma run game was able to gash the Bulldogs for big yardage all game long.

Alabama has a strong rushing attack, led by quarterback Jalen Hurts, and it might be a long day for the Bulldogs who just showed their vulnerability on that side of the ball to the entire country. They did play in one of the best games in recent memory, but they had a tough time getting stops all game long.

The Crimson Tide don’t exactly have the offense that Oklahoma does, but Bo Scarbrough and Damien Harris could give the Bulldogs fits and Calvin Ridley could be a matchup nightmare at receiver. Alabama had a tough time scoring on Clemson, but it won’t be quite as difficult against Georgia.
