Georgia Football‘s road to victory continues into the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. Here are the Bulldogs’ three key players to watch.

Georgia Football started their new year off with a Rose Bowl double-overtime victory. The Bulldogs beat the Oklahoma Sooners, 54-48, sending the Bulldogs straight to the College Football National Championship.

It will take playmakers to advance the game against Alabama, and there are 3 key players to watch that will make the difference in next Monday’s game.

1. Mecole Hardman

Hardman is the wide receiver that can make a huge impact during the game. Hardman’s speed is unmatched this season, as he is named one of the fastest players in the country. Hardman is only a sophomore, but is making a good impression after scoring four touchdowns this year. Even though Hardman caught one pass in the Rose Bowl, you cannot overlook his outstanding season. Expect him to make a big play or two against the Tide.

2. Sony Michel

Michel’s Rose Bowl performance was nothing short of incredible. Michel scored the winning touchdown, along with four total touchdowns and rushed 181 yards during the game. As a senior, this running back has the experience, and knows what it takes when going up against Alabama. When you combine two running backs like Nick Chubb and Sony Michel, the end result is greatness and it will spell trouble for Alabama.

3. Lorenzo Carter

Carter applies the pressure as a linebacker. He made one of the biggest plays in the Oklahoma game, and giving Georgia that energy they needed to take over. Carter continues to positively impact his team, having 47 tackles this season, along with four sacks. Alabama should not underestimate Carter’s ability to show up and show out.
