NFL Mock Draft 2018: Complete first round post-bowl season
By Dana Becker
Want a defensive lineman that forces offenses to change what they do? Vita Vea just might be the answer.
Vea, a junior for Washington, had the kind of season most expected after a breakout 2016, earning Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year honors.
The 6-5, 340-pounder recorded 43 stops, with 5.5 being for loss and 3.5 sacks. That followed up a sophomore campaign that included five sacks, 6.5 tackles for loss and 39 tackles.
Vea makes up for his short name with long skills, as he can take on multiple offensive linemen, clearing the way for others to make plays.
