Getting somewhat of a break after facing Clemson in Week 2, Texas A&M will stay home to take on Lousiana-Monroe. Funny thing about this matchup is that Jimbo Fisher was actually supposed to face the Warhawks in the season finale with Florida State to end 2017, but he left before that game could take place and it ended up getting the Seminoles to bowl eligibility.

Fisher will get a “rematch” of sorts with the Warhawks, this time as the coach of Texas A&M. Just like Florida State did to UL-Monroe in late-November of 2017, Fisher’s Aggies will do — blow the doors off the Warhawks.

Louisiana-Monroe had one of the worst defenses in all of college football in 2017. In fact, the Warhawks were one of just a handful of teams that allowed over 500 yards per game. The defense won’t improve much as they will allow over 300 yards to Nick Starkel and Trayveon Williams’ bounce-back season will be in full-swing.

This won’t be all that close as the Aggies will put this game out of reach by halftime.

Final Score: Louisiana-Monroe 13, Texas A&M 45 (2-1)
