The end of the season will be tough on this young Arkansas team, mostly because the final three games will be taking place on the road. The middle of the three will be against Mississippi State in Starkville, but the good news for the Razorbacks is that Dan Mullen is no longer in town.

Nope, former offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead is now in charge, leaving the rebuilding process to him. That will make this game that much more interesting and close, but winning in Starkville isn’t easy although the road team has won the past three meetings.

Moorhead will be tasked with fixing Nick Fitzgerald after a disappointing season and he will have his ups and downs, but the Arkansas matchup will end up being one of his better games of 2018. He will pass for 260 yards and throw no interceptions in the process. He will slightly out-duel Cole Kelley and that will be the difference in this one.

If we’ve learned one thing by this point in the season, it’s that Arkansas’ defense needs some major work if it’s going to compete in 2019 and beyond.

Final Score: Arkansas 21, Mississippi State 34 (5-6, 1-6 SEC)
