Let’s face it, Arkansas isn’t going to get off to the best start in SEC play. Sure, there’s always a chance for upsets, but this isn’t going to be it. Alabama is coming off a national title win and will be ranked No. 1 heading into the 2018 season as well as in this contest in Fayetteville.

Sure, it’s a home game in the SEC which could make things interesting in terms of upsets, but the Crimson Tide aren’t going to falter against a brand new coach. Arkansas still has plenty of kinks to work out, but this will be a confidence-building effort against the Tide.

Chad Morris will get plenty out of his team in this one and although it won’t be all that close, the Razorbacks will score in the final couple of minutes to show that they haven’t given up. It’ll still be all Alabama thanks to the emergence of sophomore sensation Tua Tagovailoa under center.

Cole Kelley will struggle through the air, but not as much as the Razorbacks’ defense. Damien Harris will also take it to the Razorbacks along with Najee Harris. This game will be one-sided for the majority of the 60 minutes, but this will be a learning experience for the young Razorbacks.

Final Score: Alabama 42, Arkansas 17 (3-3, 0-3 SEC)
