Arkansas Football: Way-too-early game-by-game predictions for 2018
After losing four straight games to start conference play, Arkansas will get a much-needed “bye” week of sorts against Tulsa. The Golden Hurricane went from bowl-bound and potent offensively in 2016 to just 2-10 in 2017 and that was likely attributed to the loss of Dane Evans at quarterback.

The Golden Hurricane won’t be much better in 2018 as Luke Skipper will be in just his second season as the team’s quarterback and he doesn’t have a ton of confidence just yet. He passed for 1,141 yards and three touchdowns with four interceptions and a 56 percent completion rate in 2017, but he won’t get much better in 2018 — especially against Arkansas.
The Razorbacks will take out all their anger on the Golden Hurricane in Fayetteville and move one step closer to bowl eligibility with a victory. They will improve to .500 on the season with the win and Cole Kelley will get back on track with his talented receivers and pick up over 300 yards for the second straight game.
Tulsa had one of the worst defenses in the nation in 2017 and that’s not going to change much as we head into the 2018 campaign. Arkansas and Chad Morris will take full advantage.
Final Score: Tulsa 10, Arkansas 42 (4-4)
