Only one game stands between the Wolverines and a potentially monumental matchup with Ohio State for the Big East title — there could actually be two or three teams tied for the Big Ten East crown by the final week of the regular season with one loss each.

Classic trap game, right?

Indiana comes to town likely looking to gain bowl eligibility while the Wolverines need a win just to stay in the Big Ten title race. The Wolverines will struggle early against an improved Indiana defense, but that won’t last long as they will turn up the heat on the Hoosiers in the third and fourth quarters to run away with the win.

The Hoosiers have given the Wolverines trouble more often than not in recent years, but this game will be relatively one-sided late.

Karan Higdon will have his best game of the season and Michigan’s defense will, yet again, slow down anything Indiana throws its way. The Hoosiers just don’t have the firepower to keep up anymore — especially with Simmie Cobbs Jr. gone and Morgan Ellison struggling in this one.

Final Score: Indiana 13, Michigan 34 (9-2, 7-1 Big Ten)
