The coaching carousel continues spinning around the world of college football. Here are the five latest moves around the country.

With the College Football Playoff National Championship in fans’ rearview mirrors, and the February signing period a couple weeks away, the coaching carousel has warmed up a bit the past week.

The Arizona Wildcats filled their head football coaching opening with Kevin Sumlin. A few assistant coaches have moved around, or their moves have started to make more sense after other coaches have moved or interviewed as well.

Lane Kiffin has made a splash hire down at FAU in Boca Raton, Fla., while some shuffling has gone on with Herb Hand leaving Auburn for Texas and Kendal Briles leaving FAU to return to the state of Texas to run Houston’s offense.

Alex Grinch’s “demotion” to leave Washington State for Ohio State has started to become more clear and Nick Saban might have been told no by his administration for possibly the first time ever.

Here is our weekly edition of college football’s fifth quarter including five coaching carousel moves from the past week.
