Texas A&M football has a tall task ahead of them in replacing Christian Kirk. Do they have the means to do it through a talented group of underclassmen?
It is no secret that Christian Kirk has been a big name in Texas A&M football since he stepped on campus as a freshman in 2015. His electric return game against Arizona State in the season opener that year sparked a fire in the hearts of every Aggie in attendance.
Of course, his talent wasn’t enough to get the team over the November hump. However, now that he has declared for the draft all signs point to him extending the Aggies first rounder streak. It won’t be a repeat of 2017 as he won’t go first overall like Myles Garrett, however he seems to be the second receiver on many draft boards- behind Alabama’s Calvin Ridley.

He finishes his Aggie career second all-time in receptions, third in receiving yards, third in receiving touchdowns, third in all-purpose yards, and holds the school record with six punt return touchdowns. To say it has been a successful career for the kid from Arizona would be a gross understatement. However, now the Aggies have to find the answer for who comes next.
