Dabo Swinney and Clemson football fell just short of the national title in 2017, but what could 2018 have in store for the Tigers?
Dabo Swinney has Clemson football rolling, as the Tigers are three-time defending ACC champions and have reached the College Football Playoff each of the past three seasons.
With a large group of returning starters on both sides of the ball, many are forecasting a fourth consecutive appearance in the CFP and possibly a No. 1 preseason rankings for Clemson.
The 2018 schedule, though, will offer up some stiff tests — especially a key nonconference one early on.
Following a match up with Furman to start the year, the Tigers will head to Kyle Field in College Station, Texas to do battle with Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M. Fisher is entering his first season with the Aggies, bu is no stranger to Clemson after leading Florida State into battle in the ACC.
The Tigers will also have key road dates at Georgia Tech and at Florida State to navigate through if they hope to play in the ACC Championship game in December and a likely spot in the final four.
Here’s a look at game-by-game predictions for Clemson in 2018.
