Florida State football had a rough road in 2017, but the perennial ACC powerhouse should redeem themselves in 2018. Here are five players that will help.

Despite a rocky 2017 football season, the Florida State Seminoles still abound in talent, particularly in defense. They also return their starting quarterback, Deondre Francois, as the signal caller in 2018.

New head coach Willie Taggart is a brilliant recruiter, with roots in Florida and connections on the West Coast, as well. His efforts on the recruiting front have paid dividends so far. The cupboard stocked for the Seminoles once more.

According to 247 Sports, Florida State’s 2018 recruiting class is the No. 16 class in the nation with 14 commits, but that could all change on National Signing Day should the ‘Noles land some more 4-and 5-star recruits.  They are on track to do so, but some of the recruits who have already committed to the ‘Noles will bring a great deal to the team next season.
