From top to bottom, this years’ class looks to be extremely talented. It includes more than 100 underclassmen who declared early. Many of them will be early selections, but the decision to leave school early might not have been the right call for everyone.
Two teams lack a first round pick entering the 2018 NFL Draft. The Kansas City Chiefs gave up their first round selection this year to move up in last year’s draft and select Texas Tech gunslinger Patrick Mahomes. The Houston Texans find themselves in a similar position after trading away their first round pick this year to move up and draft Deshaun Watson out of Clemson in 2017.
