The overall ability to pursue the ball carrier and the closing speed that four-star outside linebacker Joseph Ogunbnajo possesses is enough for Baylor to give him a second look and really try their best to land him in the coming days before National Signing Day.

Moreover, Baylor’s loss of a top tier linebacker like Taylor Young is something that has to be fixed entering the 2018 campaign. Baylor does not have a single linebacker committed in the class yet. Ogunbanjo is a valuable prospect for the Bears to consider.

This Houston, Texas, product is choosing between the Cal Golden Bears, Utah Utes, and Baylor. He’s got some Pac-12 schools pursuing him, but Baylor is an obvious choice for Ogunbanjo. Waco, Texas, is still very close to home and he can play immediately.

Someone has to replace Young in the linebacking corps, and Ogunbanjo is the best prospect left on the market to help fill that gap. All Baylor has is a few rising sophomores and juniors to fill the linebacker positions and they need at least one commit in the 2018 class.
